The Internship and Career Center
The Internship and Career Center (ICC) at UC Davis is one of the oldest and largest internship, job and career centers in the country, helping forge connections between the university and the workplace. No matter what your field of study, you can benefit from personalized career counseling and from internship opportunities that will expose you to new working environments and help develop your employment skills.
Bridging the gap between campus life and your career, an internship may be one of the most valuable experiences you'll have at college. The Internship and Career Center offers students the chance to relate their studies to the real world in a variety of challenging, rewarding positions. Each year, almost 6,000 students participate in internships with corporations, small businesses, schools, government agencies and community organizations.
Engagement in community and public service is an important part of the UC Davis vision. Over the years, thousands of agencies, businesses and firms have sponsored UC Davis students. Many internships are located in Davis or nearby communities, such as Sacramento, including many opportunities at the Capitol or with public interest agencies. Other internships are available throughout the state, nation and world. Internships may be part-time during the school year or full-time during the summer, and may include a financial stipend.
